Well, we made it to Columbus, or nearly there at Alum Ohio State Park at around 6:20 p.m. or so. It was of course dark already and the park has a light show going on similar to Otsinengo Park Christmas light show so it is mobbed. They sent us down the road the wrong way so we had to back it up into another road to get turned around before we could then back into our space. Thank goodness for cell phones and cameras. Stacy guided me with a flashlight while on the phone and the trailer backup camera worked wonders. Told her that if we can do this in the dark then we can put this thing about anywhere. The cold is not so fun. The trailer battery couldn’t keep up with the furnace so the temp inside when we got here was 30 degrees. It’s in the teens all the way here. We have a full 50 amp electric hookup here so everything is cranking now. Up over 50 already! Can’t wait to get further south tomorrow night! The dogs were wonderful and we’ll behaved. We all went for a walk while the camper was warming up. Jack watered several trees, Marley did her thing but Rosie is a shy pee er. Stacy says she would never go while at school either. Would wait until she got home in her own back yard. She’s gonna be holding it a long time if she waits for that now! Guess thats enough for now! Hope to post some pics too.
