Stacy is spending our last day here with Kara and TOlivia while I went to Argyle, TX to pick up a cargo box found on Facebook Marketplace. We discovered early on that this newer camper has much more livable space than the old one, but significantly less storage space. We are both guilty of packing or stocking up on things that we didn’t need to….me a dozen 2 liter bottles of Fresca and her 2 40 pound bags of dog food….(We found that indeed, Texas does have BOTH of those items), but that aside, we still have the necessities. The satellite dish doesn’t fit in the storage cubby. Neither will the outside griddle now that it’s assembled. The box will hold up to 16 cubic feet and 200 pounds so it is a nice addition. It was only used on one trip by the previous owner and is in excellent condition. And the price was right! Then I get back and before I even open the camper door I heard Jack jump down off of the sofa. We are trying to teach them to stay off of the furniture (why I’m not sure after all it IS called FURniture) but nevertheless Stacy is holding firm. We have used cookie sheets left on the cushions and that has enjoyed some success, but we forgot to put them out before leaving earlier. We closed the bedroom door so the bed was not available (Jack is an expert at turning down the covers while “fluffing”. And there really is no excuse for them to be the couches. They have two extra large dog beds that take up half of our living room space. I assure you that they are not spoiled or pampered in any way. Tomorrow we have a 5 hour drive to San Antonio, not bad. We can get up when we want, break down and pack up and be out of here by 10 or 11 and still get there before dark to set up. Stacy has talked about San Antonio and how much she likes it there I am anxious to see it. Enjoy the pics! Until next time….
