Made the 2 hour 40 minute drive from Fort Pierce to Fort Myers to watch the Red Sox defeat the Phillies 5-3 today. Before the game met up with family members Pat and Suzie for a brunch at Dennies. Very much enjoyed their company and catching up on the news! The game was fun. HOT but fun. Temps in the high 80s. Singing Sweet Caroline in the 8th when you’re ahead is always a good time! A lot of the Red Sox regulars were out of the line up as they are at the WBC representing their particular country, but we still got to see many of the players that will play every day all summer. And I procured the requisite bucket hat so it was a successful outing!
