Definitely NOT a white Christmas in Dallas, TX this year with well above average temperatures approaching 80 degrees! We spent the morning with Kara, her husband Junior and granddaughter Olivia opening gifts and then enjoying a hearty breakfast. Traffic was very light getting there around 9 a.m. but quite a bit busier coming back at 3:30. We’ll go back later to enjoy some deep fried steaks Texas style! That will be a first for us. The dogs did well for the first time being left alone longer than an hour or so. I think all they do is sleep anyway. I do have a monitor that alerts me via text and email should the temperature in the camper go higher or lower than the limits I have programmed into it, so I don’t worry about that. Hope that Santa was good to everyone and that no one was found to be on the naughty list. If you were, you know who you are. Until next time!
